Dear Internet: An informal hello
Writing this at 2am
Inspired by the 100 Days to Offload Challenge, I decided to finally give blogging a try. I've been meaning for months now to get a better online presence settled, including a portfolio and a blog to share insights I come across in my own life or online. Stumbled across Bear, and it seemed to fit the bill perfectly. As long as it doesn't go down, it should be perfect!
So officially, Hello World, and I look forward to whatever this will become.
Eventual Goals:
Part of the lag in my push for blogging was a goal to Build It All Myself, which I'm realizing is a major obstacle to progress, especially if otherwise busy as well. Bear seems like a good fit between manual and externally managed, making it a great stopgap. End project will definitely be self-hosted, but there are quite a few steps to getting there, including but not limited to hardware, software, IPAM, and assuring availability.
